    Description

    Akro Agate white mortar & pestle jar with lid and original contents - original paint and lettering.  Lettered on the bottom "J.V. Co.,Inc." as Akro made these for the Jean Vivaudou Co., Inc.  Label on top reads "Orloff Attar of Petals Cream" and small label at bottom reads " 2 1/2 Oz. Nt. Wt. Jean Vivaudou Co., Inc. NY Distr."  There are painted blue flowers with pink dot center that decorate the top and around the middle of the jar.  Contents  have shrunk a little and turned a creamy ivory but do not smell rancid.  From my 30 plus year collection - this is the only one I have seen that has the contents and good lettering.
