Green Akro Agate or Slag Glass Swung Glass Vase 9.25 in

Description

You are considering a very lovely slag glass or Akro Agate or Slag Glass Swung Vase in green.  The green is almost 'jade', but a tad bluer.  The marbeling effect is not pronounced.  It is mostly seen as shading between the 'ribs' that form the neck of the piece and around the inside of the opening.  It is really a beautiful vase.  Because it has six fingers at the top, it could be a Viking piece, but it is unmarked.  Fenton and L E Smith also made similar vases.  It likely had a paper label at one time.  The vase stands 9.25" tall and is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks.
